Bonnie Gerecke, M.D. is an assistant professor of Neurology with a clinical focus in motor neuron and neuromuscular diseases. In addition to her Maryland ALS Clinic leadership, she is a neurologist in UMMC’s Myasthenia Gravis Center. Dr. Gerecke received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, served a residency in neurology at Tufts University and was a neurology and neuromuscular/EMG fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University.
Peggy Simon, M.D. is an associate professor of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. A graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin, she served her internal medicine residency at Barnes Hospital, Washington University in St. Louis, and completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard. Before coming to University Specialty Hospital, Dr. Simon developed pulmonary rehabilitation programs at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She was also co-director of the ALS center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
